Williams-Hill airfield

Walter Beech brought his first plane here in a crate that he bought through surplus. He eventually had several planes. The hangar burned and he asked the city fathers to invest in a company that would manufacture the planes....duh! Bet they wish they would have now.

Everett williams,Wilbur Hill and Walter Beech started first airfield with hangars to keep planes in was used for air shows and landing fields.
