Well, I guess he could become a judge and not have to go on tv and be questioned by Senators ha.
Thanks for the info. He must have been one to do what needed to be done and not afraid of new things.Course anyone that came through the civil war was ready to make things better.bluebird

Correctomundo! He was the first photographer in Arkansas City. He learned his trade during the Civil War. One of the few Civil War photographers and he came to Arkansas City, KS. He trained W.S. Prettyman who then trained many other photographers. IH Bonsall also later became a judge. He is buried in Riverview Cemetery.
