Mr. Sleeth had one of the first sawmils and furnished wood for the school,but it was green and later warped and so the folks finally made a good solid school. Course Mr. Sleeth was not to blame for the wood to warp.Everyone was wanting to get a school built,since the school was held in the home of H.B. Norton,they needed more room. study
