H.P. Farrar
Mr. Harry Prince Farrar born in Phillip Maine,September 28, 1851. Came to Arkansas City 1872,age 21. Entered general merchandise business.
Later sold store 1874 and became cashier at Cowley County Bank of Arkansas City. 1885 the bank took National Charter on Home National Bank.He demonstrated ability as financier and executive.
Also Vice president of A.C. Savings,Banking & Loan and V.P. pf Land & Power Co. and A.C. Gas & Electric Light Co., Water Power Co.
He owned farms in Cowley & Sumner Counties.
Married Miss Celia H Foss in Maine. She was born 1853. Daughter of James A Foss,Portland Maine.
