chair factory

There was a chair factory run by F.H. Plummer. He also had a fully reclining chair produced in the factory. He sold the chair to the railroad for their train cars and to the public.
This factory was on what is now 900 block of south first street. There was a family fixed it up and are living there. Not sure about now.
This information came from a book "Images of America" by Heather Ferguson,Director of the Cherokee Strip Land Rush Museum.
For a short time many years ago, our son and Wife lived across the street from this building. And they knew the people that lived there.bluebird Very Happy
