Looks great! That is our only website. Your "bells and whistles" are not too much. Looks like you have been working really hard. Thanks for the link.
Re: First Baby Steps - Dedicated web site
That being said, I posted a link to your site on the museum's web page. I am sure people would love to see all that is found and put on the site.
Thanks!
Is there another site for the museum than the city of Ark. City

THANK YOU!!
There's no hurry for information. I'll take whatever I can get whenever it comes. This has been a project of mine for a long time but never had anywhere near enough stuff to make a site for it. All I had managed to get was on that first link I posted. But, new stuff gets posted to the web all the time and finally some new tidbits came along. It would be great if I was independently wealthy and could travel to look for information instead of independently poor.
I've sent messages to the people in charge of the ITGenWeb about making it an official project of theirs with me as administrator but haven't heard anything back as yet. If this happens I can get rid of those silly Rootsweb/Ancestry adds top and bottom of each page.
I've been playing around some more and REALLY need some feedback. I need to know if anyone thinks I've gone to far. I'm generally not to much on bells and whistles but with all the text on the page it needed something to break it up a bit and separate the sections. I also found a background that I like. I think I've kept the additions in keeping with the times of the page.

If your interested in the C.S.L.A.
I've been doing some tweaking on the Cherokee Strip Live Stock Association web site. I can't believe that I posted about the site first time just yesterday morning. It seems like a much longer time. I must have made forty or fifty revisions since I first uploaded it. Take a look and let me know what you think.
sounds good
No problem. We also thick skinned. Sometimes when writting is hard to express thoughts like you want it to sound like.
That is how some names got changed by whoever wrote a name spelled it like it sounded or a e looked like an a,etc.

First Baby Steps - Dedicated web site
I hope y'all don't get tired of me. I have taken the first baby steps towards a website dedicated to the history and genealogy of the Cherokee Strip Live Stock Association. AND, no that's not a misspelling. That's how the board of directors spelled it and in the lease of 1883. [ Did we all get it wrong all these years????] Anyway, the page, for right now, is located at http://freepages.history.rootsweb.ancestry.com/~billie0w/cslsa/index.html . Any and all feedback is greatly appreciated. I have a thick hide so don't be afraid you'll offend me in some way.
